Answers, in plain language.
Do you accept Medicaid?
Yes. Starlight is a Medicaid-certified home health provider in Texas. We'll help you understand what your coverage includes before any care begins.
Do you provide care for children?
Yes — pediatric home health is one of our core services. We deliver specialized in-home care for children, coordinated closely with your family and your child's physician.
What areas do you serve?
We're based in Frisco and serve families across North Texas and the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, including Collin, Denton, and Dallas counties. Call us at 945-407-9855 and we'll confirm availability in your area.
What's the difference between skilled nursing and personal assistance (PAS)?
Skilled nursing is medical care provided by a licensed nurse — wound care, medication management, and ongoing health monitoring. Personal assistance services (PAS) are non-medical help with daily living, like bathing, dressing, meals, and mobility. Many families use both.
Do I need a doctor's referral to get started?
Skilled nursing care generally requires a physician's order, and our team will help you coordinate that. For personal assistance services, just call us and we'll walk you through exactly what's needed.
How soon can care begin?
Once your coverage is confirmed and any needed physician orders are in place, we work to begin care as quickly as possible. Call us and we'll give you a realistic timeline for your situation.
Care that meets you at home.
Starlight was founded on a simple belief: quality home health care should be defined by warmth as much as by clinical skill. From pediatric to adult populations, our team brings professionalism and genuine compassion into every visit — because home is where healing happens best.
